1. Mongolia has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of the Urban Development Sector Project. Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above.

2. The Ministry of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development (the Purchaser) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply and Delivery of Trucks and Machineries for the Selected Aimags' PUSOs (the Goods).

The present bid calls for supply and delivery of:

i. Stiff boom crane trucks - 4 sets
ii. High pressure vacuum suction trucks- 6 sets
iii. Backhoeloaders - 4 sets
iv. Excavators - 4 sets
v. Solid waste trucks -7 sets
vi. Loader - 1 set

3. International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: One-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Project Management Unit and inspect the Bidding document at the address given below, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m Ulaanbaatar time (GMT+8).

5. To purchase the bidding documents in the English, eligible bidders should:

• write to the address above requesting the bidding documents for proposed The Goods.

• pay a non-refundable fee of US$50 (fifty US dollars or equivalent in Mongolian togrog) by transmitting to the following bank account:

6. Deliver your bid:

• to the address above, one original and three copies; and before the deadline at 11:00 a.m. Ulaanbaatar time (GMT+8) on 6 March 2012, Tuesday

• together with a bid security in an amount of not less than 2% (two per cent) of the Bid Price or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency in the form of a guarantee from a reputable bank. For purposes of determining the equivalent amount of Bid Security in other freely convertible currency, the selling exchange rates published by the Bank of Mongolia (Central Bank) on the date 28 days prior to the deadline for bid submission shall be applied.

Late bids shall be rejected.

Bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for the submission of bids in the presence of bidders' representatives who choose to attend.

7. The Project Management Unit will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by Bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of Bids.
